Canine Companions Helps Humane Societies

Canine Companions dog trainers volunteered and assisted the Pet Rescue organization in two dog adoption events.
Canine Companions helped handle dogs and coach other dog handlers during the Pet Rescue “Adopt a Dog Day”. And we assisted the Pet Rescue organization during the annual “Bark in the Park” event.
During both of these events, Canine Companions answered questions about dog training, explained the principles of Kinship® Psychological Dog Training®, and demonstrated basic handling techniques both for potential adopters as well as the other volunteer handlers who had come to show support for the Pet Rescue Organization.
We are happy to report that over 9 dogs were adopted during these two events, and that Canine Companions trainers are now on the approved and recommended trainer list for Pet Rescue.
