Along with understanding reinforcement, the professional trainer needs to have communication skills in order to effectively train a dog. Praise is an essential form of communication and reinforcement. We break down the three different levels of praise and teach you how to use it.
9. Contact/Rapport/Pacing
How to make contact is essential for communicating. How to develop rapport is essential in creating a relationship before any training can begin. Pacing is a skill used for developing rapport.
10. - Commands - sit, down, stay, stand, heel, come and go.
There are several different ways to teach commands depending on the temperament and age of the dog. Here we teach you the different ways and when to use them.

15. AKC Good Citizen Test
